1 tsp olive oil
2 tsp garlic, minced
2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 large portobello mushroom caps
1/4 cup tomato or marinara sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 basil leaves, chopped
Preheat oven to broil. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl mix together oil, garlic, and Italian seasoning.
Brush bottoms and tops of mushrooms with olive oil mixture. Place mushrooms bottom-side-down on baking sheet.
Top each mushroom cap with 1/4 cup tomato/marinara sauce and 1/2 cup cheese.
Broil 8 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with basil before serving.
