Ingredients

  • 8 large (3 lb.) honey crisp apples

  • 2 cinnamon sticks or ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup water


Directions

  1. Core and peel the apples and cut into chunks. Place the apples into the instant pot.

  2. Add the water and the cinnamon sticks.

  3. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes. Let the pot rest for 10 minutes before releasing the steam.

  4. Remove the cinnamon sticks. Using an immersion blender, blend the apples in the instant pot until you get the texture you desire.

  5. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
