Ingredients

  • 1 romaine heart

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved

  • 2 oz mozzarella cheese

  • 4-5 basil leaves

  • 2 tsp balsamic glaze (recipe: https://www.golo.com/blogs/recipes/balsamic-glaze )

  • Sea salt & pepper to taste


Directions

  1. Cut romaine heart down the center, leaving the core.

  2. Drizzle olive oil over romaine leaves.

  3. Grill lettuce until charred, but not wilted. Transfer to a serving plate.

  4. Top grilled romaine with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.

  5. Season with salt and pepper.
