2 medium apples
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 tsp butter
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cut apples into 1/4-inch thick slices (optional - remove the core) and place in a lidded baking dish. Add lemon juice and cinnamon. Toss to coat.
Dot butter over apples.
Cover and bake 30-35 minutes, or until apples are tender. Let stand 10 minutes, then gently mix to cover apples with juice that has formed on the bottom.
Divide into 4 equal servings. Serve warm.
