Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup lite coconut milk

  • 1/2 cup oat or almond milk

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract

  • 1-2 tsp turmeric (adjust to your taste)**

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp nutmeg (adjust to your taste)**

  • Pinch of each: black pepper & cardamom

  • 1 tsp honey (optional)


Directions

  1. Stir together coconut milk and your choice of oat or almond milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat.

  2. Add all other ingredients (except honey, if using) and continue to heat, stirring frequently so as not to burn the milk.

  3. Heat until hot but not boiling. Remove from heat and add honey, if desired. Stir until combined.

  4. Serve warm.
