Ingredients

  • 2 pears, any variety

  • 4 tsp maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon


Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Slice pears in half, lengthwise, and remove seeds. Arrange them face up on a baking tray.

  3. Drizzle each slice with 1 tsp maple syrup, brushing over the face of the pear and leaving some inside the center.

  4. Divide walnuts evenly into pear centers. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

  5. Bake 20-30 minutes, until pears are tender and cooked through. Serve warm.
