4 cups fresh green beans, ends removed
1/4 cup whole milk
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Pinch red pepper flakes
2 tsp lemon zest
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Place green beans in a shallow baking dish.
In a small mixing bowl add milk, garlic, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and lemon zest. Mix well. Pour over beans, then sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until beans are fork-tender and cheese has melted.
Optional: Broil for 1 minute or until cheese has browned.
Divide into 4 equal servings.
