2 cups water
3 black tea bags
2 cinnamon sticks
2 tsp ground nutmeg
Pinch of ground cardamom
Pinch of ground cloves
1/8 tsp black peppercorn
1 Tbsp fresh ginger, roughly chopped
1-1/2 Tbsp raw sugar
2-1/2 cups coconut, almond or whole milk
In a medium-sized pot, combine water, tea bags and spices. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover with a lid and set aside for 5 minutes.
Add sugar and milk. Return to heat until it begins to simmer, then remove from heat immediately.
Pour into your favorite mug and sprinkle with cinnamon.
