2 cups whole wheat flour
3 Tbsp avocado or olive oil + extra to cook tortillas
1/2 tsp sea salt
2/3 cup warm water
In a bowl combine flour, oil, and salt. Mix well.
Slowly add warm water while mixing until dough is formed (add extra water if needed).
Place dough on clean countertop. Knead for 2 to 3 minutes, keeping the bowl close by.
Put dough back into the bowl. Cover with a towel or plastic wrap and set aside for 20 minutes.
Divide dough into 8 equal balls. Roll each ball out into a thin, flat circle.
Heat a large pan over medium-high heat.
Lightly oil the pan. Add one tortilla and cook for about 1 minute or until bubbles form.
Flip and let cook for another minute. Flatten with spatula if needed. Repeat until you have cooked all tortillas.
Use immediately or store in fridge or freezer.
