Ingredients

  • 2 6-oz Ahi tuna steaks

  • 2 Tbsp tamari or soy sauce

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

  • Sea salt & pepper to taste

  • Dash of cayenne pepper


Directions

  1. Cover tuna steaks with tamari/soy sauce, oil, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Marinate in a container or bag for ten minutes or overnight.

  2. Heat a skillet on medium-high heat until hot.

  3. Sear tuna as desired. Cook time may vary based on thickness of steaks: Rare – 2 minutes per side Medium Rare - 2-1/2 minutes per side Medium – 3 minutes per side

  4. Cut into four 1/2-inch slices.
