2 6-oz Ahi tuna steaks
2 Tbsp tamari or soy sauce
1 Tbsp olive oil
Sea salt & pepper to taste
Dash of cayenne pepper
Cover tuna steaks with tamari/soy sauce, oil, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Marinate in a container or bag for ten minutes or overnight.
Heat a skillet on medium-high heat until hot.
Sear tuna as desired. Cook time may vary based on thickness of steaks: Rare – 2 minutes per side Medium Rare - 2-1/2 minutes per side Medium – 3 minutes per side
Cut into four 1/2-inch slices.
