1 15-oz can chickpeas
1 tsp sesame or olive oil
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp salt
2 tsp tamari or soy sauce
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Rinse chickpeas and pat dry. Remove all moisture for best results.
In a medium bowl combine chickpeas, oil, and seasonings. Mix well.
Spread evenly across a baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, then stir chickpeas around on baking sheet.
Cook for another 10 to 15 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Remove from oven. Cool and store in a glass jar for up to 4 days.
