1 10-oz carton GOLO Foods Plant Blend
2 eggs (replace with 2 Tbsp ground flax meal for vegan)
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 tsp onion powder (optional)
1 5-Ingredient Roll (see recipe: https://www.golo.com/blogs/recipes/5-ingredient-rolls)
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup tomato, sliced
1/2 cup lettuce
Mustard or GOLO Ketchup (see recipe: https://www.golo.com/blogs/recipes/golo-ketchup)
Sliced red onion
Condiments like pickles, hot peppers, or GOLO Relish (see recipe: https://www.golo.com/blogs/recipes/golo-relish)
Homemade slaw (shredded purple cabbage, fresh dill, seasoning, and apple cider vinegar) or plain sliced cabbage
Lightly pulse GOLO Foods Blend in a food processor or mash with a fork until ingredients start to stick together.
In a medium-large bowl crack eggs and slightly beat with a fork. Add pulsed/mashed blend. Mix well. Season as desired, then form the mixture into two evenly-sized patties.
Sauté: Sauté burgers in a nonstick pan with 1 Tbsp oil. — Bake (recommended): Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook burgers on a parchment paper-lined tray until browned. Cooking burgers in the oven will hold them more tightly together and prevent excess fat from absorbing into the burgers.
Assemble each burger on half of one 5-Ingredient Roll and top with lettuce, tomato, and favorite condiments.
