Ingredients

  • 1-2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1, 15 oz cans chickpeas, drained (reserve 4 Tbsp liquid from can, if desired - see below)

  • 1/4 cup tahini

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt (to taste)

  • 1/8 tsp ground black pepper (to taste)

  • 2 tsp cumin

  • 1/8 tsp paprika (optional)

  • 4 Tbsp water (or use reserved liquid from canned chickpeas)


Directions

  1. Add all ingredients, except water, to a food processor

  2. Blend until smooth. Add water 1 Tbsp at a time and continue to blend until you have reached your desired consistency.

  3. Check and adjust seasoning if needed. Enjoy!
