1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1, 15 oz cans chickpeas, drained (reserve 4 Tbsp liquid from can, if desired - see below)
1/4 cup tahini
1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 tsp sea salt (to taste)
1/8 tsp ground black pepper (to taste)
2 tsp cumin
1/8 tsp paprika (optional)
4 Tbsp water (or use reserved liquid from canned chickpeas)
Add all ingredients, except water, to a food processor
Blend until smooth. Add water 1 Tbsp at a time and continue to blend until you have reached your desired consistency.
Check and adjust seasoning if needed. Enjoy!
