Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp tamari/soy sauce or coconut aminos

  • 1/2 tsp honey (maple syrup for vegan version)

  • 1-1/2 Tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1/4 tsp ginger, grated

  • 1/2 Tbsp corn starch

  • 1 Tbsp water

  • Pepper to taste

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • Red pepper or chili flakes (optional)


Directions

  1. Whisk ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Add to saucepan and warm over medium heat until sauce starts to thicken.

  3. Remove from heat and use immediately or allow to cool for storage.
