1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp ground ginger
1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp all spice
1 cup whole milk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 Tbsp maple syrup
4 tsp butter
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and all spice. Mix well.
Add milk, egg, vanilla and maple syrup. Mix until smooth.
Melt 1 tsp butter per serving in frying pan over medium heat. Scoop 1/2 cup batter into pan. Cook 2 minutes, until bubbles cover pancake.
Flip and cook the other side until golden-brown.
