Fried Cheese & Egg Open-Faced Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cheese, shredded

  • 1 egg

  • 1 slice GOLO-approved bread

  • 1 tsp butter

  • Pinch black pepper (optional)


Directions

  1. Heat sauté pan over medium heat. Add cheese to middle of pan.

  2. When cheese is almost completely melted, crack egg over cheese. Season with pepper or other desired seasoning.

  3. While egg is cooking, toast bread and spread 1 tsp of butter over it.

  4. When egg whites begin to cook, carefully flip cheese/egg. Cook until egg is done to your liking.

  5. Place cheese/egg over toast.
