1 tsp honey
1 Tbsp tamari or soy sauce
1/2 tsp garlic, minced
1 Tbsp almonds, finely chopped
1 Tbsp sesame seeds
1 tsp olive oil
1 6-oz cod fillet
In a small bowl, combine honey, tamari sauce and garlic. Mix well. Set aside.
In a small bowl, mix almonds and sesame seeds. Set aside.
Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large pan.
Brush cod with honey-tamari mixture, then cover the top in almond / sesame seed mixture.
Place cod in pan, crust down. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until cod is opaque in color and begins to flake.
Transfer to a serving plate and top with remaining tamari / soy sauce.
